The Magic Mountain, by Thomas Mann


One of my friend's favourite novel...Alas, not mine.
I am on page 90 and giving up. Too boring :-(

That's too bad - it's a brilliant novel. You should try again, maybe when you are a bit older - it's not a 'page turner' per se, but it's filled with philosophical gems and ruminations on the nature of time and perception...
